Jill + Austin | Wedding Day | Country Lane Lodge, Adel Iowa

Although just Austin is from the south, this wedding at Country Lane Lodge felt like the sweetest southern wedding!

Austin was such a gentleman, Jill was absolutely stunning from head to toe (hello blush pink fur shawl!!), and they were both so smitten with each other!!

And the fact that these two couldn’t keep their hands off each other was also perfect because it made for beautiful, romantic pictures, but also kept them a bit warmer during our 20 degree outdoor portraits!:) Love my couples who take on those temps for that gorgeous natural light!:)

My favorite moment during the day was right after the first look when Austin gave Jill a gift to open. Inside was a beautiful strand of pearls. As Jill was admiring it, Austin told her that he thought she needed a little something for her neck, and he had heard that Jill’s granddad and given her grandma something similar on their wedding day! Which immediately brought on the tears!! From the bride!! not the photographer! … ok maybe my eyes got a little watery!:)
